Marianne Amlie Seldon is a talented Norwegian artist now living in Brisbane, Australia. She studied art and design at Newcastle Polytechic in the UK before coming to Australia where she taught drawing, art, fashion and design for 30 years at TAFE.
Marianne has an amazing affinity with nature and her work always shows an incredible warmth and depth of colour - if she sees something beautiful she just wants to paint it.
Her use of vibrant colors and strong lines make her work an excellent choice for a wide range of projects and purposes. Marianne is accomplished in using traditional methods as well as modern technique but it all has a warmth and beauty that brings a smile to everyone's face and becomes the focal point of any room.
